Ebey’s Landing, National Historic Reserve, Washington

Isaac Ebey’s home and Ebey’s Landing, National Historic Reserve, Washington.

In the 1850’s Isaac Ebey settled on Whidbey Island, farming and lodging visitors. I had the pleasure of visiting the area for a family reunion of the Judson/Goodell family. Phoebe Goodell Judson’s daughter married Isaac Ebey’s son. Phoebe and her husband Holden Judson lived at the Ebey home pictured above.

Coupeville, a charming Victorian village on Whidbey Island holds wonderful historical information from the early settlement of the Pacific northwest. A museum, shops, restaurants, Bed and Breakfast’s make this a great place to visit.
